2026-2027 Disney Private VIP Tour pricing
As of late 2026:
- Off-peak rate: $450-$650/hour
- Standard rate: $650-$850/hour
- Peak rate: $850-$950/hour
- Holiday peak (Christmas, NYE): Can reach $1,000+/hour
7-hour minimum is unchanged. Park tickets are still separate.
Total day costs:
- Off-peak: $3,150 to $4,550
- Standard: $4,550 to $5,950
- Peak: $5,950 to $6,650
- Holiday peak: $7,000+
These prices don't include the 18-20% gratuity expected for the tour guide. Add another $600-$1,400 on top.
Year-over-year increases
Comparing to 2024 launch pricing:
- 2024 launch: $450-$900/hour range
- 2025: $450-$950/hour range
- 2026: $450-$950/hour range (with longer high-end periods)
- 2027: $450-$1,000+/hour range (top of range expanding)
Net effect: about 8-12% real price increase per year on the high end.

The Premier Pass evolution
Disney's Lightning Lane Premier Pass (introduced October 2024 as the unlimited-line-skipping tier without a tour guide) has also seen pricing changes:
- 2024 launch: $300-$400/person/day
- 2025: $300-$450/person/day
- 2026-2027: $350-$500/person/day
For a family of 4 at peak season, Premier Pass alone runs $1,400-$2,000 per park day — half of what Disney official VIP costs. This positions Premier Pass as an interesting middle ground.
The 2027 decision framework
For families considering "VIP-level Disney" in 2027, three honest options:
Option 1: MyMagic VIP virtual guide — $1,080/day (or similar competitors)

Why prices keep rising
Disney has explicit guidance that they're focused on "higher income deciles" of visitors. CFO communications confirm this. The strategy is: fewer guests, higher spending per guest.
Disney VIP Tour is the apex of this strategy. They've raised prices steadily because the families who pay $5,000 for one park day don't blink at $5,500 next year. Demand at this tier is genuinely price-inelastic.
What this means for your decision
If you're a family with mobility-challenged grandparent or a milestone celebration where the SUV genuinely matters: $4,200-$7,000 may still be the right call.
If you're a "standard" American family wanting Disney expertise without the SUV: virtual VIP is now relatively cheaper than ever vs. Disney official.
If you want line-skipping but no guide: Premier Pass is a real third option.
Our 2027 prediction
We expect Disney to continue raising VIP prices 8-15% per year through 2030. Virtual VIP services (us and competitors) are unlikely to raise prices significantly — competition keeps the market in check.
The gap will widen further. Virtual VIP will be 5x cheaper than Disney official by 2030.
